Alex came by to estimate our job and made some good recommendations and bid the miscellaneous work we requested. A mixture of window and doors, including a dutch door for the front door. I wanted them to come in with a crew and knock the work out, but they knew better, and pieced it together with the right mix of workers. Demo, Wood workers, Stucco men, Painter, Finish carpenters. It took a little longer than expected, but the end product was well worth it. Finished product is excellent. We really appreciate the level of excellence the workers produced especially Erick the painter.

We love our new windows by Seaport Sash and Door. Changing out our old windows is probably the best thing we’ve done to improve our home in 20 years. The first thing we noticed is how quiet our new windows make our house. The double pane windows improved the temperature dramatically. We love the nice tint on the outside that gives us privacy during the day yet still gives us a clear view looking outside. I’d like to mention how great Seaport is to work with. This is a well run business. They are upfront and professional. The whole process only took 2 1/2 days from start to finish. The finish work makes Seaport Sash and door stand out above the competition.

We’ve had Seaport install windows in two locations in our house. The first were basic bathroom windows and the second were custom designed front windows which made a major difference to the look of the house. Alex was instrumental in getting our ideas to work, and helped avoid some design pitfalls we were moving towards. His experience with design, aesthetics and feasability is a great resource. They did very nice work. It is so nice to have high quality doors installed as the previous ones from the previous owner were poorly installed and some leaked. We had 1 window, 2 regular doors, a French door, and a large slider door installed. They stand behind their work. We had a couple of minor issues, including one that cropped up 13 months after installation and they were corrected without hesitation. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

After receiving a flyer in the mail from Seaport, I decided to get an estimate to see the cost. “When I bought my unit in 2005, there were louver windows from the 1960’s in the front. Those definitely needed to go! Alex from Seaport replaced all the windows and 2 doors. Fast forward to 2024. Termite damage to the window sills caused water to leak inside. I called Alex to do the work. The front windows and door needed to be removed and termite damage repaired. His workers were well trained and very nice. A shout out to Tommy the door guy, Ricardo removed the windows and door and repaired the termite damage, Manuel the drywall guy, Ernesto the security door installer, Kerwin the outside trim guy and Erick the painter. Jennifer kept me up to date and came out to check on the work progress. It took awhile to get the work done bc of all of the rain this year but I am satisfied with the end product. “Seaport Windows & Doors has just completed over $30,000 of repairs on my Seal Beach home to fix leaks on 3 sides of my house. From day one, Alex Herrera was the most professional contractor with whom I have ever worked. Competent, straight forward and honest he assessed a multitude of issues with my home many of which I never noticed. His first document was a list of all the known repairs with line-item costs. Each time there was an adjustment a new invoice appeared and every time I wrote a check, I received a confirmation ‘paid in full’ document. The men who worked for him were skilled, professional and respectful. The sub-contractors were also skilled & hard-working. What would have taken months with another company, took 3 weeks. “We had a very challenging retrofit & more than 30 windows done by Seaport. The problem we had was with the manufacturer NOT Seaport. When Seaport finally received windows that were not damaged from the manufacturer the installation went quickly and smoothly. We felt the pricing was about right for the amount of work required. Ours was not a straightforward job and they pulled it off splendidly. The true test of their work was with the amount of rain this winter, we had with NO LEAKS or drips. I really don’t think any other installer could have done this job. If you have a challenging job and want a professional experience, I would highly recommend Seaport Windows and Doors.”
